The website with the domain name: www.gbc.gr (hereinafter the “Site” or the “Website”) belongs to the association under the name “Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC)” with the distinctive title “Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC)”, headquartered in Thessaloniki, 31 Giannitson Street, P.C. 54627 (hereinafter “Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC)”), which is responsible for its operation and management, and serves as a communication and information system of the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) with the public via the internet.

This document contains the General Terms of Use of the Site (hereinafter the “Terms of Use”) governing the relationship between the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) and the visitors and users of the Site (hereinafter the “Users”), and specifically all content (including, by way of example, texts, images, graphics, trademarks, distinctive features, etc.) (hereinafter the “Content”) and the services offered through it, which apply every time the User enters the Site or uses its Content and services.

Under no circumstances does the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and availability of the Content. Newsletters

Newsletters received by Site Users who subscribe to mailing lists are the intellectual property of the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) and are therefore protected by the relevant provisions of the applicable legislation. The Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) reserves the right not to register a person on mailing lists or to delete them from such lists.

Exclusion of Legal Advice

The Content and information included on the Site are for informational purposes and cannot in any case be construed as legal or professional advice.

User Obligations

Each User is obligated to comply with the provisions of Greek, European, and International Law, and to refrain from any illegal and abusive behavior while using the Site and, in general, the website of the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC).

Specifically, any act that violates the law or may harm the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) and/or third parties is strictly prohibited, such as, by way of example:

Any problems that may arise during the visit/use of the websites to which this site refers fall exclusively within the sphere of responsibility of the respective websites, to which the public should address their concerns.

Amendments to Terms of Use

The Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) is entitled, from time to time, to modify the Terms of Use of the Site. Every User must check the content of these pages for any changes. Continued use of the Site even after any such changes signifies the User’s unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

The Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) is entitled to modify the services provided through the Site or to temporarily or permanently discontinue the operation of the Site at any time at its discretion and without notice to Users.

Indemnification

It is expressly agreed that in the event that any lawsuit, claim, administrative or judicial action arising from any form of violation by the User is brought against the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC), its legal representatives, or employees, the User undertakes the obligation to intervene in the relevant judicial proceedings and to compensate the Greek Bioeconomy Council (GBC) in the event that it is required to pay compensation or incur other expenses.

Applicable Law and Other Terms

This specific agreement (Terms of Use) is governed by the provisions of Greek Law, the directives and Regulations of European Law, and relevant International provisions, and is interpreted based on the rules of good faith, commercial ethics, and the economic and social purpose of the right.

If any provision is deemed contrary to the law and therefore invalid or voidable, it shall automatically cease to be in effect, without in any way affecting the validity of the remaining terms. No modification of the terms of this agreement shall be taken into account or form part of it unless it has been formulated in writing and incorporated into it.
